Pintech Warranty
LIFETIME WARRANTY
Pintech USA makes the following limited warranty to the user or consumer
purchaser of this Pintech percussion product:
If any part of your Pintech percussion product fails at any time during your lifetime due to a defect in material or workmanship, we will repair or, at our option, replace the defective item at our nearest service center or at our Service Department in Greenville, South Carolina. If no replacement part can be provided for such Pintech percussion product, we will repair or, at our option, replace the defective part at our nearest service center or at our Service Department in Greenville, South Carolina. If your Pintech percussion product fails at any time within one year after the date of sale to you due to a defect in material or workmanship, labor to repair the defect will be provided free of charge at our nearest service center or our Service Department in Greenville, South Carolina. You will be responsible for all labor/parts costs after this one-year period. The foregoing limited warranty applies only to the percussion item itself, and does not apply to electronic controls such as Pintech USA Modules, user or consumer installed triggers used in conjunction with the percussion item. These electronic control items are included in the six month limited warranty below.
If any part of your Pintech percussion product other than the percussion items warranted for life, fails at any time within 30 days after the date of sale to you due to a defect in material or workmanship, we will repair or, at our option, replace the defective part free of charge for parts and labor performed at our nearest service center or at our Service Department in Greenville, South Carolina.
If any part of your electronic controls such as Pintech USA Modules or user or consumer installed triggers fails at any time within six months after the date of sale to you due to a defect in material or workmanship, we will repair or, at our option, replace the defective part free of charge for parts and labor performed at our nearest service center or at our Service Department in Greenville, South Carolina. Trigger perfect elements and RS-5 triggers are warranted for a period of ninety (90) days from date of consumer purchase. You will be responsible for all labor costs after this ninety day period. Replacement elements (TP-E) are available for purchase direct from factory. Any warranty claims must be accompanied with a copy of the sales receipt.
****IF THE USER OR CONSUMER PURCHASER CEASES TO OWN THE PERCUSSION PRODUCT, THIS WARRANTY AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY WHICH THEN REMAINS IN EFFECT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE VOIDED.***** NO WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, IS MADE IN RESPECT OF HARDWARE, CABLES, OR THE FINISH ON ANY METAL PORTION OF THE PERCUSSION PRODUCT.
THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES. THE DURATION OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, IN RESPECT TO ANY PINTECH USA PERCUSSION PRODUCT PERCUSSION ITEM OR OTHER PERCUSSION PRODUCT PART, IS EXPRESSLY LIMITED TO THE PERIOD OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE FOR SUCH PERCUSSION ITEMS OR OTHER PARTS.
This warranty is voided if your Pintech USA Percussion product is not purchased and installed in the U.S.A. This warranty excludes and does not cover defects, malfunctions or failures of any Pintech percussion product which were caused by repairs by persons not authorized by us, use of parts or accessories not authorized by us, mishandling, improper installation, modifications or damage to the Pintech percussion product while in your possession, or unreasonable use, including failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance.
To obtain servicing contact Pintech USA Service Department, 27 American Court, Greenville, South Carolina, 29609. Please contact us before shipping your percussion product to us. If we authorize you to ship it to us, you will be responsible for all insurance and freight or other transportation charges to and from our factory or service center. Your percussion product should be properly packed to avoid damage in transit since we will not be responsible for any such damage. Proof of purchase is required when requesting warranty service. The purchaser must present the sales receipt or other document that establishes proof of purchase.
IN NO EVENT SHALL PINTECH USA BE LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES.
SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
THE WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
Pintech Warranty Renewal Program
Warranty Renewal: Cost: $45.00
BENEFITS:
1. Gives customer limited lifetime warranty on used Pintech products
2. Gives customer first crack at the purchase of *B-Stock items when available.
*cosmetically inconsistent products.
3. Gives customer the right to purchase Non warrantee wear and tear replacement
parts (mesh heads, strike pads, tension rods etc) for ˝ off of retail. (Eg…10”
Mesh head norm cost 27.00 with warranty cost=14.5)
4. Gives customer the same rates for parts under warrantee that every customer
with a warrantee pays. (Example.. non-warranty holder will pay 25.00 for a
replacement snare trigger, warranty holder will pay 12.00)
5. Allows customer ability to Retro upgrade to newest style at a approximately ˝
off of retail with a trade in.
****Renewed Warranty does not cover cosmetic flaws or inconsistencies, just the
electronic functionality of the Item****
